Moving towards the 2020 vision - My Marathon journey over an amazing five-year challenge which started in China

My self drive and inspiration comes from developing myself  mentally and physically each day. I drive myself  daily in growing my businesses. I also throw myself  into driving and supporting companies and individuals, mentoring and coaching them to raise standards beyond what they know and realise is possible today, I have 2  initial starting points, One is to create three images WITHIN YOUR MIND,

1) Your strategy of life and business TODAY 2) What I see in your CURRENT strategy in life and business  3) Then create the image of excellence, LOOKING AT the people who get and have the life you want TODAY.

Second stage,

Who are you?
What do you want?

Then we get to work creating a life path for you to achieve that journey. THE JOURNEY YOU TRULY WANT AND DESIRE.

. Having spent most of my life owning companies but not always succeeding, I also develop myself to consistently understand my Neurology and who I am, I am at a point in my life I want by the age of 50 to have had a purpose for myself in what I have achieved.

The pinnacle of what is "life fulfillment " Do we ever find out?

I am now excited and nervous, because Kilimanjaro is now officially registered event along with the  Liverpool marathon, both May and June, just the Polar circle to register for when it goes live in late October and we have a full house for 2016!

Story so far.......

An inspirational Paisley man is taking on 20 of the world’s hardest running challenges – after successfully completing the grueling Great Wall Marathon in China.

Fabulous fundraiser Stevie Kidd, 45, has launched himself on a five- year mission to tackle the toughest race events around the world before he turns 50. The entrepenuer and business performance coach will run at the North Pole, pelt through Death Valley in California, face the burning Marathon Des Sables, in the Sahara Desert, as well as trekking the Mount Everest Marathon – the highest marathon the world. Dad Stevie is embarking on the global quest of achievements to raise vital cash for good causes – including Finding Your Feet, set up by Lochwinnoch mum Corinne Hutton. Corinne founded the her charity from her hospital bed in 2013 after losing her hands and lower limbs when she was stricken with septicaemia and pneumonia.

Stevie said: “The most important thing is that these challenges will be done. “One of the things I believe deeply is that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. “And I always ask myself as I do other individuals whom I am coaching – ‘Can you do more? Can you achieve more? Can you raise your standards? Can you raise your performance?’ “The answer is invariably yes because personal performance is about personal growth.” Stevie, married to wife Lesley, and doting dad to his teenage son Ryan, has lined up a five-year programme of events, beginning with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, in Liverpool, in May 2016. He will then head for Africa, in June 2016, to climb 19,340 ft Mount Kilimanjaro, followed by the Kilimanjaro Marathon, where he will join hundreds of racers for the running event around the continent’s highest peak. In October, Stevie will pack his bags again and contest the “coolest marathon on Earth” as he does the The Polar Circle Marathon which takes place over five days in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. For 2017, he has already lined up the Inca Trail Marathon in Peru, as well as the Bagan Temple Marathon in Myanmar, formerly Burma, which takes in a spectacular voyage

World around breathtaking temples in the jungle. Other challenges in 2018 include the Everest Marathon, involving a run from Everest Base Camp to Namche Bazaar; the Disney Theme Park marathon, around four theme parks, and a marathon in the Moab desert, traversing spectacular canyons in the Utah desert. In 2019, Stevie is facing the Russian winter during the Siberian Ice Marathon, before attempting the world’s toughest foot race, which is a pain-staking journey covering 135 miles from Death Valley to Mt. Whitney, California. Later that year, he is attempting Marathon des Sables across the Sahara Desert.

Stevie added: “Eight months ago, I had never run. Then I trained and completed the third hardest marathon in the world, the Great Wall Marathon. So anything is possible. I am hoping to invite charities that would like to partner me to get in touch. I would also like to mentor young people during my training programme. “For now, I am training hard in the gym and outdoors, in building up strength, stamina, muscle and endurance, as I prepare for the toughest challenges in the world.”

If you really want to create a shift in your life, make this a part of your daily ritual....

Quality questions create a quality life. They direct our mental focus and therefore determine how we think and feel.

The difference in the quality of people’s lives often comes down to the difference in the questions they consistently ask themselves. If you ask a dis-empowering question (i.e. “Why does this always happen to me?”), your mental computer will look for an answer, even if it has to make something up! It might come up with “Because you’re stupid” or “Because you don’t deserve to do well anyway.”

On the flip side, if you ask an empowering question, such as “How can I take this experience and use it to contribute to others?” your brain will look for answers to this question and often come up with an answer that not only makes you feel better, but that can help others as well.

The key is to develop a pattern of questions that empower you. The following questions are designed to help you experience more happiness, excitement, pride, gratitude, joy, commitment and love every day of your life. Come up with two or three answers for each of these questions. If you have difficulty, simply replace “am I” with the words “could I be.” For example, “What could I be happy about in my life right now?”

1.       What am I most happy about in my life now? What about that makes me happy? How does that make me feel?

2.       What am I most excited about in my life now? What about that makes me excited? How does that make me feel?

3.       What am I most proud about in my life now? What about that makes me proud? How does that make me feel?

4.       What am I most grateful about in my life now? What about that makes me grateful? How does that make me feel?

5.       What am I enjoying most in my life right now? What about that do I enjoy? How does that make me feel?

6.       What am I committed to in my life right now? What about that makes me committed? How does that make me feel?

7.       Who do I love? Who loves me? What about that makes me loving? How does that make me feel?

If you really want to create a shift in your life, make this a part of your daily ritual. By consistently asking these questions, you’ll find that you access your most empowering emotional states on a regular basis, and you’ll begin to create mental highways to happiness, excitement, pride, gratitude, joy, commitment and love.

Testimonial

My only regret in working with Stevie Kidd so far is that I wish I had started to do so 10 years ago. If you want a coach who will pat you on the back say it's all going to be alright whilst whispering gentle words of encouragement then look somewhere else. If you want a supportive coach who will really challenge every fibre of your being, shock your system, elevate your thinking and aspirations and take you on a journey that will propel you to another level then Stevie is the man that I would wholeheartedly recommend!
