In November 2015 I had never ran before, One day I got off a chair and ran which lasted 15 minutes to end of streetlamp post and back to my house, My SON Shouted" Dad thought you were going for a run" My Response was " I did but please do not MEASURE me on today champ as that would be a very wrong thing to do, and please refrain from laughing as longer journey is inspiring believe me please" Dad
Ryan shouts down the stairs ... " Who knows about the long term visions Dad..... My Response... " Ryan they are all in my head as a seed but they are nourishing and blossoming wild, and as long as we love each other let me tell you something they will grow wild.... I shouted up to Ryan, " I love you son but time for Dad to go to work" and I did.....
In Last 8 weeks with inspiration and support I decided I wanted to reach a milestone before my 50th birthday, below is what I am setting as my challenges over the next 5 years. 2016 events already booked and ready to go....
During this journey I will be coaching, consulting and growing my own business. ..I will also have a group of charities I will support along the way with innovative partnerships. All will become clearer whats in my mind.. but for now below is links, descriptions and photos to journey ahead....
My life has been about inspiring people, this is about taking it to another level...
Special mention to Lesley Kidd , Ryan Kidd who support me in everything I do, A mention to 3 special people, Doug White, Dave Major, and Linda Major who had real impact on my life during the Great wall of china marathon trip, you got me to search my soul, this is what I came up with... Stevie Kidd

November - Marathon: Set a PR for your WOW factor on this course! This course is unique and wild. The canyons around Moab are unlike anywhere in the world, and this course conquers some of the most spectacular! You will travel through narrow canyons with spectacular vertical walls on both sides and along the rim-tops of deep canyons with spectacular vistas every direction. The terrain changes frequently to keep the miles clicking and includes narrow single-track, rugged jeep trails, sandy washes, ‘Moab-style slickrock’, a short section of dirt road, a few sections of no-track, a very old mining trail and a couple sections of fixed line traverse. Views will take your breath away, and include the spectacular red rocks of “Behind the Rocks Wilderness” and “Amasa Back” area, also view the sheer vertical walls of Pritchett, Hunter and Kane Creek Canyons and views into Canyonlands National Park. In the distance are the beautiful 12,000 foot La Sal Mountains. You’ll pass by several arches, lots of lizards, some really cool and funny looking rocks, possible eagles and hawks, some neat ancient pictographs, a couple small creeks and springs, and our friendly aid station volunteers who will be there to hydrate and fuel you in some of the craziest spots! The elevation gain and loss is about 3500 ft. There are two major climbs, one at the beginning which is nice and gradual, and one just after the ½ way point which is shorter and steeper. There are several other short climbs and descents throughout the course. The top runners will run all but the fixed rope section and are expected to finish in less than 4 hours. Average runners will do a combo of running with a bit of walking and are expected to finish in the 5 to 6 hr range. If you want to feel ecstatic and in awe after a race, then this one is for you!

Known simply as the MdS, the race is a gruelling multi-stage adventure through a formidable landscape in one of the world’s most inhospitable climates - the Sahara desert. The rules require you to be self-sufficient, to carry with you on your back everything except water that you need to survive. You are given a place in a tent to sleep at night, but any other equipment and food must be carried.

January - World challenge
Welcome to the 2016 World Marathon Challenge ®. This event is an amazing logistical and physical challenge to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days, which follows on the outstanding success of our inaugural event in January 2015.
Participants will fly to Union Glacier, Antarctica, deep within the Antarctic Circle, to begin their challenge of a lifetime. After the first marathon commences on the 'Frozen Continent' on 26h January 2016, there will be a mere 168 hours left to complete the World Marathon Challenge.
During this seven-day time period, competitors must run standard 42.2km (26.2 miles) marathon distances at Union Glacier (Antarctica), Punta Arenas (Chile), Miami (USA), Madrid (Spain), Marrakech (Morocco), Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Sydney (Australia). In doing so, they will complete seven marathons on the planet's seven continents: Antarctica, South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
At each location, local running experts will ensure the marathons are the correct distance on custom courses. Among them will be Dave Cundy, the Vice President of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), who measured the Sydney and Beijing Olympic Marathon courses.

The Comrades Marathon is the world's oldest and largest ultramarathon run over a distance of approximately 90 km | 56.1 miles between the capital of the Kwazulu-Natal Province of South Africa, Pietermaritzburg, and the coastal city of Durban.
